About this list

We have researched every company here, so you have a pre-screened place to start.

• What we check. Each company's qualifications, especially MCS certification, the government-backed standard that unlocks grants and lets you get paid for electricity you export. We also look at public reviews and confirm their contact details.
• Not a personal recommendation. We cannot guarantee any company's work. Get at least three quotes, check qualifications on the official registers before you sign, and trust your own judgement.
• About the ratings. Scores (for example 4.8 out of 5) come from public review sites when we last checked, and may have changed. Where only a site's name appears, reviews exist but we did not record a score, so click it to see them. No rating means we found no public reviews.

Not sure what something means? The help buttons below explain every badge, tag and score. Last checked 1 October 2026. We review all supplier information on the 1st of each month.
